Center for Independent Living Southwest Kansas is dedicated to helping people achieve full participation in society. Programs are consumer driven by individuals with disabilities, encompassing all ages, disabilities and ethnicity in all level of management and staff positions creating a unique environment. Staff relate and provide services to consumers from their own experiences with disabilities. We build services based on an individual's ability to choose and achieve a desired lifestyle. The center's emphasis is placed on establishing the consumers linkage with existing resources, stimulating the community to provide equal opportunities, an accessible environment and needed support services. We believe the strength of our programs resides with the individuals who has a disability as well as their families and friends.
