The Center for Independent Living Southwest Kansas was started in 1996. The Board of Directors provides the framework and governance for our mission. Under the Rehabilitation Act of 1974 all Centers for Independent Living are required to be consumer controlled with 51% of Staff and Board people with disabilities. We encourage you to meet our current board of directors who set our mission to provide services and information to assist people with disabilities to live independently and achieve full participation in society.
